Believe it was Andrew Stoeten that wrote today AA was wildly unpopular for 5 years and 9 months of his 6 year run. Gotta be nothing to it. That said, I did misread your original post and thought you said they contended for 6/7 years. I showed remarkable restraint considering.

That said, I did misread your original post and thought you said they contended for 6/7 years. I showed remarkable restraint considering. Yes you did and appreciated. I wasn't going on popularity as much as organization. Every great organization has a great farm system. Unless they have just converted for a championship run. Raptors are a good example of this. Great farm system and they are rewarded with a crop of good young players. JPR tried to short circuit that process by trading prospects for veteran talent. AA understood the idea of delayed gratification and I believe was forced to shorten the process due to the age of his core. If EE and JB would have been younger I think he keeps building within but we'll never know. It will be interesting to see how he does in Atlanta. I have never read Stoeten so went for a look see. Thanks.

Stoeten is a GREAT follow on Twitter. Real well thought out, and no shortage of humour too.

So the Yanks scored 5 in the 8th on the Jays to push their perfect mark to 5-0 on the pre-season. They're gonna run the table this season.
209-0 coming up.

Hey Mango, were you part of the Yankees crowd that boo'ed Stanton for striking out 5 times tonight?

I cannot fathom why Happ would choose the Yanks over the almighty Jays.

Dominos are still falling though I'm a little surprised the Jays hitting coach is apparently going get off free. I mean he was the hitting coach for the Astros during this period and stealing signs is basically ALL ABOUT HITTING!!! He must have known and gave his blessing.

Would love to see harsher penalties, though.
