If you want to embed anything on this board, vines or tweets for example, use the button in the post window.
If you want to manually type the code: [vine url="https://vine.co/v/OEZPQwgBjgh" type="simple"] https://vine.co/v/OEZPQwgBjgh
If you want the vine header, and text title, change the type from "simple" to "postcard" [vine url="https://vine.co/v/OEZPQwgBjgh" type="postcard"] https://vine.co/v/OEZPQwgBjgh
[twitter url="https://twitter.com/Raptors/status/575317167501148160"] geez, this place has more built in features than the old one!

I believe that someone mentioned before that there was a blog option for the site. Maybe to generate more content, and quality members and posters, we can have a "blog team" which people can contribute a blog in their area of specialty or interest. Make it low commitment, like once a month. I'd be more than happy to write about injury prevention/treatment/etc or the performance side of things.

I'd love to read some opinion pieces from the people here.

There is no "built-in" blog, but I can create custom pages that would behave pretty much like a blog.

Added the ESPN NBA ticker to the footer of the board. Can't get it to auto-refresh yet, but it can be manually refreshed.

Glad to see my quote from Tuesday immortalized in Tech's sig.
Also, I can't help but laugh everytime I see "Daily D". I should eventually grow up.
Brilliant work on the ticker!

Everything's looking great, tech.
As for me, finally made the leap from Windows to Linux - kubuntu, specifically. I guess this is how fast computers are supposed to function without all the extraneous BS functioning all the time?

Everything's looking great, tech. As for me, finally made the leap from Windows to Linux - kubuntu, specifically. I guess this is how fast computers are supposed to function without all the extraneous BS functioning all the time? Kubuntu is WAY better, I used it while i was in school for Computer Engineering since we needed to learn it, and it's hilarious how much better it is than Windows for most things. Even small things like when you try to copy more than one thing at a time, instead of just trying to mash them all through like Windows does, it creates a queue. It's so obvious and yet completely missed by Windows. The only reason to use windows, and the only reason windows is still holding on to me or for the games options. If Kubuntu can get this properly working, or mainstream enough that games get working versions for it, it would replace Windows instantly for me. It is also insanely more secure than Windows (actually somewhat by accident on original design and then encouraged and kept that way), hilarious example is that Windows uses windows server for most of their servers, EXCEPT for their main ones that house the more important imformation, then they use Linux servers.

Yep so my laptop is in for repairs. What had happened was two screws from the base of my laptop had come loose. They held the laptop (near the hinges) in place. Now that's never happened to me before so when I saw them (they fell out like 5 weeks apart) I did a very quick check and didn't see any missing. Since then the hinges have slowly gotten loose and come out of place. As a result whenever I opened the laptop it would make contact with the top faceplate around the keyboard. All of this was verrrrrry gradual so I didn't think anything of it. It was only when a crack on the faceplate formed that I took notice of it. As it was the end of school and was/am loaded with work I delayed taking it in for a two weeks. That slight crack has now grown and a 1 inch corner chunk of my laptop is threatening to fall off. The cost to fix? $280..... Had I done a more thorough check the first time it would have costed nothing.

For me, it sucks so hard to have this website blocked when I'm at work. I'm being too limited at home to get involved here during after-hours time much, too. This is a really disappointing time for me.
On the plus side, I am making a fortune for my employer now. Which I suppose is a good thing.

Well, the problem is that this particular site has been blocked by the internet provider at work, and I have yet to actually invest in a data plan for myself. I don't really feel the need to spend that kind of money when most of my online needs can be met capably at home. Although that may have to change, as I may have to get started with Vivino soon. So thanks for outing me as cost-conscious.
