Firstly, we should all be ashamed of ourselves. We do not have a Lowry general thread!
Secondly, Open Gym just released a 50 minute episode just about him. Great re-living some past movements, and damn, look at his house!!!

No Lowry thread?! inexcusable.
I am sure there is some shame-related .gif or meme that is appropriate here.
The best excuse I can come up with is that it is implied that the general Raptors thread is essentially a Lowry thread. Lowry = Raptors.
. . . Or perhaps that it never occurred to any of us that there wouldn't already BE a Lowry thread.
(Thanks for sharing the link, Springer!)

It will be interesting to see if they have a desire (MU and Lowry) to continue on together. Lowry had a great run with this team.

Thanks for all the memories! And that championship - that was definitely up there too.
I'll never forget that deep, three-point, pull-up jumper that always hit when needed the most.
Glad Toronto could send him somewhere he wanted to go.

God-mode Lowry was such an amazing thing to witness.
And "malevolent fire hydrant" will probably be my favorite description of any athlete for all time.
KL was one of the best parts of being a sports fan.

Ya happy for Lowry able to get somewhere he wants to go and honestly at 3 years and 90 million I think we might end up being grateful it's not here in the last year. Good way to leave with no hard feelings.

I agree that, at age 35, it's likely Lowry will be nearing the end of his career, and I would have been really nervous had Toronto offered a 3-year contract, but I remember reading something about how Lowry was doing a bunch of "Steve Nash Stuff" to extend his health and timeline, even consulting with Steve Nash specifically. Nash somehow found a way to ward off Father time far longer than most thought possible (age 40 or 41, I think, though admittedly he wasn't in MVP form in his final years). It's possible Lowry will be another athlete that surprises us with his longevity and we'll be sad he's not in a Rap's uniform.
None of that changes that this move made sense for Lowry and it sounds like some version of this was going to happen regardless.

Kyle and Calderon apparently didn’ got over their point guard rivalry … If they ever cared. Funny stuff.

10 years since Calderon last wore a Raps jersey...
Time just flies by way too fast
