Where do you go for a burger?
Where do you go for coffee?
Where do you go for lunch?
Where do you go for a night out?
For something healty-ish...?
Now, I'm a fan of local restaurants and not chains (I HATE you Boston pizza) but I figured since we're all geographically separated, we'd stick to just chains.
For a burger, I'd say A&W
For a coffee, I'll go to Mcdonald's or Aroma or coffee culture, no timmies, ever.
For lunch, I'm a huge fan of Freshii or Firehouse Subs
For a night out, I'd say Jack Astors
For healthy-ish stuff, Freshii

It very much depends on where I am. Burger King is better in Korea than in North America, for instance. Dairy Queen sucks in Korea. Burger King doesn’t exist in Japan, etc.
But I do love Pizzeria Uno pretty much anywhere.

I'm in Saskatchewan so I'm guessing a lot of my chains will be different. For example I've never heard of Aroma, Coffee Culture, Firehouse Subs, Pizzeria Uno or Jack Astors.
My favourite pizza chain is definitely Red Swan Pizza. There's tons of them in Western Canada but looks like only a handful in BC and Ontario. It's like the same price as most cheap 2-for-1 pizza chains that usually serve terrible pizza, except Red Swan actually has interesting and unique combinations. My personal favourite is their Spicy Ginger & Coriander (Fresh Green Coriander, Ginger, Green Peppers, Red Onions, Tomato, Hot Jalapenos, Olives, Pizza Sauce & Mozzarella Cheese).

Burgers: Romer (but only a Vancouver chain), Harvey's (none in BC, but i remember loving them growing up in Ontario), and for the national scene, i agree, A&W.
Coffee: Starbucks (only for their nitro cold brew), but otherwise McDonalds (who, smart enough, started serving the Timmies coffee when the Americans bought them out and switched to the new brand which is crap)
Lunch: no chains. there are sooo many good different asian cuisine places in and around Van, and the chains like Cactus Club are waay overpriced
Night-out: The Keg
Healthy-ish: I default to Freshii too because there's so many around, but half the bowl is rice or noodles! not really that healthy when you think about it

Btw, for pizza, is anyone around here old enough to remember the Mother's Pizza franchise? Dear lord, I loved that place when I was a kid. Was so sad when it shut down (and then we had a few years of Frank Veter's Pizza, which was ... okay). I think Mother's was what we'd now call Detroit-style pizza, so when that type of pizza started showing up, I was so damn happy.
Coffee -- Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has a decent brewed coffee. But I'm not so snobby about my coffee and can handle most anything if it has a decent chair.
But one thing I do enjoy about the places I've lived is how much easier it is get by without going to franchises in places like Spain. Otoh, Japan, is strangely franchise-heavy ... for both foreign and domestic foods.
EDIT: Oh, I see Mother's made a revival for a couple of years, in Hamilton and elsewhere ... but they've all closed again. So close! So sad.

So, of all the pizza chains, where do you guys go?
I honestly don't hate pizza pizza. So many people do. It'll never be my go-to ever but as a drunk choice with a side of creamy garlic? Yes please.
I hate pizza hut. Not a big fan of dominoes either.
Pizza Nova would probably be the only other one I'd visit.

I like Pizza Nova. That what we usually order for work. Personally I like Little Caesers and I know they have a bad rep, but for some reason they hit the spot for me.
Today for lunch I went to Philthy Philly's. You can get all kinds of poutines and cheese steak sandwiches and the like. Not cheap and with food this heavy its hard to even tell how good it is. I did enjoy my bacon poutine and 6" cheese steak sandwich, but its a load. I ain't eating dinner.

When I do, it's with a 50% off coupon, which is every Monday in my area. So I get their pan pizza and then get 3x cheese and make it some delicious meat monstrosity. I've also taken a liking to Pizza Hut. I like the grease, I want the beetus.

Pizza Hut in Ontario is roughly 117% better than Pizza Huts elsewhere. That's a scientific fact.
They're terrible in Ohio. Passable in Pennsylvania. And just bizarre in Asia.

Remember when we used to be able to actually go to our go-to restaurants? Those were the days. Early 2020, man. You had to be there.
