Well, i just looked at the keeper league from last year and all managers have renewed except for Zug, so if we get one more manager it looks like we can have a go.
If anyone knows of anyone, here's the invite link:
We can do a live on-line draft this Sunday at 10pm EST. IF you can't make it, just set your picks to auto pick. Because of the the sort time frame, we will start fresh with no keepers, but look to carry it on for next season.
Scoring will start in week 2.

Looking forward to the draft. I only had one other league that had a draft this year and missed it for personal reasons. Autodraft sucks mostly, although the draft in question is not by a mile my worst auto-draft team ever.

I found a manager for the manager-less team!

Yay! As far as the draft goes I'm pretty happy. Drafting first is always cool of course, but even then, I like the guys I have. The only guy I dont have that I have on other teams hat I love owning just because I like cheering for him is FVV.

Is this the same league as the one from RC like 12 years ago?

Sort of. That league has stopped and started a couple of times, but it's some of the same guys.

I'm glad we're playing this one. One of my other leagues I have Curry and Myles Turner, plus a bunch of doodes who are off to some slow starts, some depressing shizz. I might not be winning this week in this league, but I at least really like the team.

If I had remembered to draft Ingram I'd be completely happy with my team. As it is I really like my top 4 rounds for potential keepers (Giannis, Trae Young, Devin Booker, Kristaps). Main potential weaknesses are I have two guys coming off major injuries with huge layoffs (Kristaps and Dejounte Murray), both guys could end up missing lots of 'load management' games and always a potential risk of re-injury. Two older vets in Lamarcus Aldridge and Al Horford who also might slow down over the course of the season. I'm almost always going to lose the turnover battle and if Trae Young or Devin Booker have a few of their patented 7 for 21 type games my FG% might suck. But overall I feel like most weeks I have a good chance to win Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals and Blocks.

So that team with Curry and Turner? It also has Collins. What a dumpster fire. @suterself = that is a nice set of keepers. I like Young a lot. I drafted him fourth in a salary cap league and felt like I'd won the lottery. I think you'l be fine with Porzingas too, he looks like he's rounding into form. I'm pretty happy with Davis, Drummond, Brogdon and whomever plays themselves into the fourth spot. Probably Tatum, but Clark has some real fantasy potential if he keeps getting minutes. I struggles with the PG slot in our draft, but there's always something in a draft that doesn't go to plan.

It's crazy that Drummond is literally #1 overall in fantasy right now. Probably some regression when Blake Griffin returns but even still, he's starting to put up 4-7 assists per game the past few games, 20-20 points and rebounds, getting steals and blocks, efficient from the field and from FT (where he used to struggle). If anyone else was putting up these types of numbers we'd be talking about them as an MVP candidate, generational talent.

I picked up Andrew Wiggins today. I can't stand his game but I'm just going to have to hold my nose and hope I was wrong about him.

He's been playing better as of late. Stat-wise at least

Man, crazy loss this week. Lost 2-6 which looks like I got stomped. But I lost FG% by .003%, FT% by .001%, rebounds by 1, and tied 3 pointers. I also won blocks by 1. So this is one of those weeks where literally one more basket or one more field goal here or there could've tipped the whole thing into a blowout either way.

Finally got my first win! Harden's crazy week helped a lot! 179 points!?!? And his 24 3-pointers was only one less than the combined total of my opposition for his whole team!! Hopefully he'll keep it up against Derrick next week...

I just realized you can check stat corrections if you log in to the desktop version of yahoo fantasy, and that stat corrections for the previous week are often applied on Sunday. I went to bed last week Sunday night thinking we were tied for rebounds and saw in the morning I lost, and thought last night I was tied for steals and woke up seeing I lost that category. I didn't realize that both weeks there was a stat correction taking away a rebound last week and a steal this week. It's kind of funny, numbers are so high in fantasy basketball that you never think a single rebound or steal will swing the whole category

My god, NBA players are so soft. So many injuries.

Yeah since I have way more experience with fantasy football, the whole injuries thing definitely feels more weird and frustrating in fantasy basketball. If I keep tabs on a player's injury status in football, I can at least feel like I have some control over my team because I can put him on my bench and start someone else. In fantasy basketball you can know a guy's out for like a week and you just have to keep eating zeroes until the app deigns to make him IR-eligible. The injury thing in football makes me want to follow the league more so I can keep track of my options, but in basketball you don't have any options so you just sort of shrug and say "oh well, nothing I can do"

Figures a world-ending pandemic would cancel the season when my team's in first place. I'll be clutching my fantasy championship trophies amongst the ruins of the post-apocalypse

I got an email saying Yahoo Basketball is shutting down this fantasy season even if/when play resumes, due to the player pool shrinking. All standings will be finalized based on what they were before the stoppage.
