I've got a rather baseless theory that if your team wins a championship, then your coach is not a problem. Because everything gets exposed and tested during playoff runs; Lue's coaching deficiencies would have been made glaringly apparent.
And the team without LeBron is trash. With him, there was a ton of alarmingly statistical warning signs...Nothing about their winless start is surprising.

Ya this is a pretty low move. Lue earned some leeway after winning them a championship. If management actually thought this team was better than this their the ones that should be fired.

I never thought Lue was much of a coach. He was more of a puppet than anything.
The Lebron effect is real.

Yeah, am sure he's devastated.

Perhaps too quick but he was never going to last the season anyway. The question is whether anyone not named Lebron would hire him to be a head coach again?
