I haven't seen any ball played in so long, I almost started to think the season was over. Glad to know we have a few games left.
Raptors up 41-32, midway through the 2nd.

I don't think the coaching change is going to make much of a difference for the Nets. I'm not even sure why they did it this late in the season. Surely not because they want to make a playoff run. Anyway, it was a whupping which is rare for the Raptors these days. Even rarer was both Trent and Quickley being the leading scorers on the same night. Consistent shooting from the backcourt would be a dramatic change in the Raptors fortune. Wishfull thinking i guess.

Not good for the tank, eh? Tank isn't looking good i don't think, going to need a fair amount of luck to keep that pick. I think the Nets are hopeless and we will pass them, same with Memphis although they have proven to be somewhat resilient.

Eh, I'm not too concerned about the pick. We'll still get 2 picks this summer and if you look at this season from a roster cleanup perspective, it has been a massive success. A lot of deadwood got cleaned out and I'm hoping a couple more Trent/Brown are gone before next season.
I think its best to just move on. The team will be bad for a while yet but the bottom has been reached IMO. Before this season I wasn't exactly sure when we would reach the bottom of the barrel.

If we are going to suck enough next year to be bottom 4/5 easily then I am hoping to keep the pick this year (and subsequently next year as well). If we are going to be close next year to losing the better pick then better to rip the Band-Aid off now in a crap year.
