No offense to Jonas ... but damn do I wish Jonas was back on our team. A brute of a center who can hit 3s!
After double-overtime last night, I don't have a lot of hope of today's game.

Dick really filling it up in the first half. Shot 6-8. Nice to see him figuring the game out, after starting so badly in the first couple of months.

This apathy towards the team is... tough. It's good, long-term to tank for the teams success but do I miss having that top tier team and excitement in games.

I think being a crappy team is a lot easier if you have some young guys who occasionally have a big offensive explosion. Gimme 30+ points. 40! But Scottie's regression since becoming "the man" is a little disappointing (even if it's understandable, given that he's getting more attention from the defense).
22 from Gradey on 16 shots wasn't bad. But I hope Quickley or someone steps up from time to time.
In an Association where players are going for 60+ and 70+ points, it's kind of sad that our single-player high this year is 39, and only 15 out of 50 games have had a 30-point scorer.

It's pretty bad right now but this is what it looks like. We could have kept Siakam and Anunoby and continued to stumbled along for years as a playin team. Might have been slightly more pleasant to watch games but it was a road to nowhere. We have some decent pieces and it's better when they are all on the court. There isn't enough good players on the roster to overcome even a single injury to our top 4.
Still some fat to cut though. Specifically Brown, Trent, Porter, Mcdaniels. That's a lot of money for nothing. Not today or tomorrow.
Schroder and Young are still providing a bit of veteren leadership so I'm not prepared to unload them unless some team really wants them.
