Got off to a good run to end the 1st. We are safe with Casey being gone.

Poor Pistons. 10 losses in a row? Looks like 11 tonight. They needed Wembanyama far more than the Spurs did.

I for one am happy to see the Raptors continuing to pile on, despite the big halftime lead. We needed a big easy win.
And maybe I’m just imagining things, but it seems to me that big Scottie games correlate to team success more than anyone else on the team. Aggressive Scottie is a good thing.

Toronto points per game: 110.8
Opposition points per game: 110.8
Yeah, that’s about as 0.500 as you can get.

His proof is Wemby to the Spurs. The league couldn't take the chance of this level of talent being maldeveloped, so they sent him to Pops. I'm not sure Arenas understands what "proof" means, but I can understand why it would make one suspicious.

I guess doing the draw in front of a representative of every team and a bunch of media doesn't stop it from being rigged?

Imagine how much better the NBA would be if the powers-that-be ensured the best players always made it to well-run teams? I’d love for that kind of rigging.

Re-watching the game, I'm really struck by how blah the Raptors were for the first 9 minutes or so. Until they took a timeout with the score 20-18. At that point, I never would have guessed it was going to be a blowout. Then, it's like Scottie woke up.

Scottie's sub pattern is strange because of trying to keep 1 of him and Siakam on the court at all times. He plays like 5 or 6 minutes to start then comes out until the end of the first or start of the second. The explosion was him coming back in rested and starting to play against bench guys.
