Toronto with a big early lead. Which naturally leads to the question: How will the Raptors blow it? A) Fourth quarter collapse B) Gradually throughout the game C) second quarter collapse. Then they get it back in the 3rd. Then collapse again in the 4th. D) God, you’re a negative turd-burger. Shut up.

Can't help but be surprised by their performance tonight. Somehow they look great?
Barnes and Siakam knocking down a bunch of threes solves a lot of problems but I don't think we can count on that all season. Be nice though.
Dick looked really active and good except he missed all his shots. These were good shots too. I hope it clicks at some point for him. For me too. I need some reason to hope.
Porter made an appearance and was fairly effective. Would play him ahead of McDaniels.

Very happy I was wrong about the team collapsing. Very happy to see the Raptors' point differential on the season go from -3.3 to +1.2 in just one game.
Otoh, the Bucks are now giving up 122 points per game ... 2nd-worst in the NBA. So I'm not exactly ecstatic yet.

I'm wondering if the Raptors are awesome tonight or if the Bucks are actually not as good anymore. Their defensive identity is broken without Jrue and their depth is too. I'm sure Kris being so limited really hurt as well but they looked lost on defense and their offense wasn't great if Giannis and Lillard couldn't create.
Whether it was the Bucks bad defense or not the offense looked way better too, a lot better passing and creative plays to get guys open on backdoor plays or step out to wide open 3s. A lot of screening away from the play to free them up. I could get used to that. Much more fun to watch

That's how your going to win a championship, so idk why they aren't getting those reps in. Middleton being limits hurts a lot too. And regular sesson Jrue is great, particularly on the defensive end. Prior to this game, the abysmal halfcourt offense had now where to go but up anyway. Still SCT BRN looks incredible to start the leap, taking The Leap everyone hoped for but couldn't reasonably expect. If that 3 ball holds up at 35% on 3.5 attempts a game or so, we're looking at a future all NBA Player. It changes everything. His shot mechanics are much cleaner now.

Ya his shot is really impressive, beyond that he's hitting them and looking solid, he's mainly just pulling up with complete confidence, no hesitation. That's the best part in having a reliable shot.
