Since this season is winding down in such and underwhelming fashion, do you think it makes sense to have one last thread for all the games?
I notice no one has shown much interest in saying anything about tonight's Knicks game, for instance...

Makes sense to me. Final tank countdown.

Makes sense to me. Final tank countdown. And in tank news: • Toronto lost (yay!) • Memphis about to lose (meh) And for our Indiana pick: • Indiana about to lose (yay!) • Warriors won. Lakers about to win. • 76ers lost (sad). • Rockets tied with 5 minutes left. Could win! (I doubt they'll pass Indiana, but they're playing so well at the moment ... and one can hope). • No Heat today.

Don't forget Portland lost too. Still hold out some hope for them, very very small hope.

Fine with me. I didn't watch the Knicks game because I had a really strong feeling it was going to be awful. Darko has a reasonably long grace period as a rookie coach, but even with an awful team, if they have a lot beat downs like this one at home next season, I am going to be reducing my opinion of our coach.

This doesn't count at all against him IMO. Take any teams entire starting unit out of the team and then some, no one has a chance. Losing like this next year is it's own thing but having Scottie (hopefully improved with another summer where he should be healed to improve), IQ and Barrett, with Poeltl and Dick and Olynyk and anyone else that shows enough.

I'm not sure how I feel about Darko yet. But I do think he's been a good soldier. Probably earned some good will from management.

Take note. Quickley and Barrett are back in the lineup and the Raptors are NOT losing by 15 at halftime. Likely still no chance of winning but it makes a difference for the entertainment quality of the game.
Oh and Trent isn't playing for some mysterious reason. Honestly don't miss him much.
Matt Bonner in the house doing some studio colour. Would hire to replace Alvin or Leo. He has potential in media.

Another loss in the books. Darko sure isn't trying to fool anyone with his rotations. Tbe guys who play well get less minutes than you would expect and the guys who aren't playing well get more minutes.

At least Scottie isn't getting his competitiveness ground into dust by being a part of the tank. Let's hope the spirit of the tank doesn't spill over to next season....
Lakers win. Heat win. 76ers win. Golden State might win. All good for our Pacers pick.

For the Laker's game, looking at the low rebounding and especially the Raps 3pt shooting (for example, Temple: 0 for 5) it made me think the Raps could have used Porter out there. Er, if it wasn't one of his bet on yourself to suck nights, that is.
I too was worried Barret and Quickly might threaten the tank, but they came through. It looked like Lebron could go inside for 2 points uncontested almost anytime he wanted.
Overall, I felt it was courteous of the Raptors to give the refs the night off. It's a lot more work for them when they have to invent stuff to hand the game to LA.

Timberwolves up big at the half.
Silver lining? Of the seven remaining games, only 2 are at home. So hopefully not too many Raptor fans will be scarred by this garbage.
Grizzlies up in their game too. A win would go a long way to cementing our 6th-worse finish.

Darko better put in the work in the summer and next year. He's filling up his coaching resume with all kinds of ugly.

Grizzlies also won so a decent gap here now. What's crazy is they beat the Bucks who just went 0 for 2 on a back to back against the grizzlies and wizards. That's bonkers. They also are now under 500 with Glen Rivers as the coach.

Uh oh, Bucks are trying to do 0 for 3 against the basement of the league. Giannis is resting tonight. Better hope Lillard goes off again.

It's impressive how bad the Raps have been.
We've had some low points in our franchise history but this has to be... down there.

We’re a terrible team right now… but it doesn’t bother me. It’s more about injuries than anything. Not like the 16-66 season when we were trying our best. I think at full strength, we’d be a low-30s team, but we’re not locked in to any long-term contracts with mediocre talent. Now we can draft well and rebuild.

Bucks seriously attempting to have the what 3 game losing streak of the year... And give away their 2 spot that is now close to at risk.

Raptors win and beat the Bucks to avoid the worst losing streak ever for the team so that's good I guess. Now bench everyone again because they play Washington, Brooklyn and Miami twice to end the year. Hopefully Miami is still playing for something. We are now 3 games back if Memphis which is nice, but they have a much harder schedule and we could be in trouble of catching them.

Sometimes you just need a win for sanity. Though I don't know what the Bucks are doing. I don't think much of Lillard to be honest but they're still a far better team than the Raptors.

Raps up by 20 on the Wizards. Not gonna lose this one with the Wiz not dressing Kuzma. Might as well enjoy the blowout.

Well it was looking good until Mcdaniels and Brown got on the floor. I forget just how bad some players can be. The sad thing is that it is possible both will be still on the roster next season. I will pray it doesn't happen.

So after Mcdaniels, Brown and some other castoffs turned a 25 point lead into a 6 point lead in the 2nd quarter I wondered what would happen for the rest of the game. I guess Darko decided he wanted to win because he played the starters the entire 3rd quarter. Mcdaniels hasn't gotten back on the floor. Nor has Williams or Free Lib. Brown has been better. I can't figure out why Mcdaniels plays instead of Nwora who has talent or even oldtimer Temple who has brains. Mcdaniels has neither.

Ujiri needs to offer the team a pizza party if they don’t win again this season.

They're probably gonna lose the pick either way. There are no guarentees when it come to percentage points. I'm not holding my breath.

Lose the pick.
Keep the pick but draft a dud.
Keep the pick, draft a winner, but he plays the same position as Scottie and the two end up getting in each other's way...
Lots of ways things can go wrong, and winning is really hard. As long as the FO doesn't do too many things that are too bone-headed, I'm just enjoying the ride.
